i apologize on the name of this post, but that's what it is.

whatsapp, the big big big chat platform that two billion people use. that's a large number. and that's maybe because mark zuckerberg owns it.

while whatsapp messages are end to end encrypted, privacy isn't really a thing with meta products. just read whatsapp's privacy policy.

moving from whatsapp isn't easy though. really. nobody i know wants to move from whatsapp. why? because that's where everybody is. on mark zuckerberg's vomit-coloured chat platform. but i did move. to signal. it is very quiet, i tell you. but i did actually set up an auto reply thing that just keeps saying 'get signal please' every time i get a message on whatsapp. it is working actually, some have gotten signal just to talk to me now.

maybe everyone is on whatsapp because whatsapp is cool, but that wouldn't make sense because it's mark zuckerberg's vomit-coloured chat platform.
